A frontyard landscaping design idea at a New York residence. Flowing bedlines and a layered planting scheme using a variety of shrubbery, perennials, groundcovers and some annuals. I designed this planting to change and provide color from April to October. Flowering bulbs such as Tulips and Crocus start the season along with Creeping Phlox & Myrtle. I've also used Rhododendron, Holly, Peony, Lythrum, Shasta Daisy, Day Lily, Anemones, Thyme and Salvia to name a few. Some Boston Ivy has been planted to grow on the brick of the house to further soften the house. Annuals are planted with in the Myrtle for additional splashes of color.
