This is a master plan that I am working on for some clients that reside in NYC and have purchased a weekend home in up state NY.
I've incorporated a tennis court, swimming pool, waterfalls, several patios and sitting nooks, a gazebo, garden paths, steps, trellis work, fencing and lighting. I've created some open areas to take advantage of the acreage and to open up the views out to the lake. Gardens surround the areas closest to the house. The plantings become simpler and naturalize with the surroundings the further that you get from the house.
